Experience
Before joining the CUPE 3908 Executive as Lead Steward – Unit 2, I served in various levels of the TGSA’s Board, first as a Program Representative before joining the Executive as VP Internal Affairs in 2020-21 and President for the 2021-22 term. In addition to this, I also spent two years as the President of the Frost Centre Student Association from 2019-2021.

What I hope to bring to the board: My main task as the Lead Steward – Unit 2 is to be a point of contact for students who have questions about their rights as workers at Trent and to find solutions to their problems by engaging the employer on their behalf. By continuing to foster a close relationship between the CUPE 3908 and the TGSA, I hope to continue to take steps toward a future where Trent University is an institution that not only recognizes and respects student academic labour as foundational to its success, but acts in kind.
